Penetron System approved for use in Ukraine

Waterproofing products help boost national construction quality

July 28, 2004 -- East Setauket, New York ICS Penetron International Ltd., a global leader in waterproofing products for major construction projects, today announced that officials in the Ukraine, after having heard presentations at the International Technical Conference for the Advanced Technologies of Modern Construction held this past May in Kiev, capital of the Ukraine, have approved the use of Penetron products in government building projects throughout the country..

Velichko Victor Alexandrovich, vice president of KievGorStroy, a top Ukrainian Holding Company that deals in all types of building construction, told the more-than-250 conference attendees that because of a projected growth in construction, The Ukraine must improve the technical level of its construction and begin to incorporate the achievements of scientific and technical progress in the designs of its buildings and structures.

Officials at the conference heard detailed results of Ukrainian projects completed with the Penetron waterproofing system, including the Kiev Underground Railway, Kiev Underground Parkings, Rvne and Kmelnytskyi Atomic Power Plants, and the Mykolaiv City Water canal.

Robert Revera, president of Penetron presented the Penetron System to representatives of the State Committee on Construction and the State Construction and Building Organizations in the Ukraine.
